The Little Heart Keychain is two small hearts worked flat in rows of single crochet, joined around the edge with a light stuffing and finished with a hanging loop. It's a quick, satisfying way to practice increases, decreases, and working two lobes separately.

  • Two flat hearts joined with a single crochet edge
  • Every row written out with stitch counts
  • Learn increases, decreases, and splitting into two lobes
  • Hanging loop and keyring attachment
  • Uses less than 30 yd of yarn

Materials

  • Worsted-weight (weight 4) cotton or cotton blend, about 25 yd (23 m) for one keychain

  • A small handful of polyester fiberfill
  • One 1 in (25 mm) split keyring or lobster clasp

Gauge isn't important, but the fabric should be firm so stuffing doesn't show. Each heart is about 2.25 in (5.5 cm) wide before the edging.
